There was a function at our beloved MCC (Elston Building) on Dec 31, 1987 the New Year's Eve, exact 24 years ago. The Emcee that evening made the announcement to a full house audience; "Many people are out on New Year's Eve and many of you chose to come to MCC this evening, which is a very nice blessing."

Guess what was the "Blessing" in the MCC on Dec 31, 1987 New Year's Eve, exact 24 years ago?

Yes, the Greatest Qari of our time, Qari Abdul Basit Abdul Samad was in Chicago, USA, just few months before he passed away. It was a great pleasure and honor that he came to our beloved MCC and recited Holy Qur'an for an hour, on Dec 31, 1987 New Year's Eve, exact 24 years ago.

Indeed it was one of his best recitations. If one use the system and ear plugs, can enrich the beauty of his great recitations, synchronizing the movement of his lips, eyes, face and hands.
